Odontia

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

It proposes. It does not decide.

Artificial intelligence is built into the core of Odontia rather than bolted on top — and precisely for that reason there is an explicit gate between what it prepares and what gets filed.

AI runs with your own key and your own monthly cost ceiling in euros, which you set.

The long-term idea behind Odontia is simple: every management feature is a channel feeding one structured base, and on top of that base sits a layer of artificial intelligence that can see the whole picture of the clinic.

That layer comes last and gradually, staged by risk. Below is what it does today — and, just as important, what it does not.

What it does today

It works on the admin side: the phone, the loose ends, appointments, balances and messages. Clinical notes are written by the dentist.

Call transcription
One click turns a recorded call into text. 653 calls had been through this by 21 August 2026.
Call summary
From the text comes a summary that lands as a draft note marked “pending” — 575 of them so far. A person accepts or rejects it.
Assistant for the staff
“What does Mr Papadopoulos owe?”, “when is his appointment?” — it answers, or opens the card. It proposes the next administrative step; it never files anything.
Dictation
Voice instead of a keyboard, through the same proposal gate and with no automatic filing. Designed, not yet active.

The proposal gate

Nothing the machine prepares is written on its own into the clinical record, the calendar or the finances. It appears as a Proposal, a person reads it, and carries it out with one tap.

The same holds for the intake form and for history arriving through a migration: the source does not change the rule.

Everything the AI writes is marked as AI-written — on screen and inside the data. You always know what a machine wrote and what a person wrote.

Anything the machine prepares stops at a Proposal. The direct path into the record does not exist.

The control stays with you

An AI feature you cannot switch off, measure or pay for transparently is not a feature — it is a risk.

Your own key for the assistant
the assistant runs on your own account with the provider. Call transcription and summarisation run on our infrastructure, with a European speech-recognition provider.
A monthly ceiling in euros
when it is reached, it stops on its own.
Your own key and your own ceiling
the owner sets the key and the monthly cost ceiling; nothing is charged without them.
Logged
every confirmation of a proposal is recorded, along with who made it.

What it does not do

Odontia does not make clinical decisions. It organises the information so you can see all of it — the decision is yours and only yours.

We do not advertise accuracy percentages for the summary of a call. The machine writes the draft; a person confirms it.

For the optional AI features we are precise rather than convenient: the language-model step may run outside the EU, under processing agreements with no retention and no training. The sub-processor register is by name and you get it before you sign.
