ABOUT ODONTIA

The calm operating memory of a dental practice

A dental practice runs on information flowing through it — phone calls, the lab, suppliers, patients, observations at the chair. Today all of that is scattered, and lost.

Odontia exists to digitise every input, place it in one structured, linked database, and show the whole picture of the practice in one place.

It is designed for small and mid-sized Greek practices — one or a few dentists with staff — and not for multi-chair polyclinics. That choice is deliberate: the “heavy” programs on the market carry complexity built for large organisations, which a small practice pays for every day in time and irritation.

It is also built explicitly for the Greek regime: ΑΠΥ receipts, myDATA, ΑΜΚΑ, Greek SMS and Greek scheduling. It is not an international system with a Greek menu.

The mind of the clinic

Every management feature is a channel feeding one structured “mind”. On top of it sits artificial intelligence — which proposes, but never decides on its own.

It never writes directly into the patient record, the calendar or the finances; it drafts, and a person confirms with one tap. Clinical judgement stays with the dentist, entirely.

How it is built — and why it moves this fast

Odontia is built by a dentist, not a software company — with artificial intelligence as the builder and a human as the architect and final judge.

From the first line of code in late May 2026 to today, the system went from nothing to practices working exclusively on it, with a phone system and tax documents in production.

Fixes happen in hours, not in “next year’s release”. When the front desk says “this bit is hard for me”, it has usually changed the same week.

And Odontia itself is written with the power of AI
Its code is written with Claude Code and Codex, on the strongest models of the moment — Claude Opus 5 and Claude Fable. That is why new capability lands every week, not every year.
Inside Odontia runs Claude Sonnet 5
Anthropic’s model reads the calls, writes the summaries, answers the staff and speaks on the phone. Whatever it suggests, a person approves.

And why the speed is not dangerous

Speed without brakes is dangerous with medical data. So every design decision is written down and ratified before it becomes code.

Changes in a sensitive area — data isolation, money, authentication — go through an independent code and security review, and the depth of that review is decided deliberately, change by change.

Nothing goes to production without explicit human approval, and database upgrades are always taken with a backup first.

Our principles

01

Simplicity

Fewer moving parts wins almost every time.

02

Reliability

Patient and money data are sacred.

03

Flexibility

Built once — growth is additive, not a rewrite.

“I wanted the software I would want for my own practice: simple, reliable, and respectful of my patients’ data. Since it did not exist, I built it.”
Emmanouil Kritikos · Dentist & founder

One honest note

Odontia is new. It is proven in a handful of practices, not two hundred, and we open each new clinic together, with its own credentials at its own providers.

We will not tell you it is ready for everything. We will tell you that the person writing it trusts it with his own patients, his own phone line and his own tax documents, every day.
